Andrea’s nursing career began more than 20 years ago. She received her Registered Nursing degree in 1994 and then obtained her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2004.

Prior to joining High Mountain Healthcare, most of her experience was in the Emergency department as a staff nurse, supervisor and nurse manager. She spent 28 years in Punta Gorda, FL where along with her husband John they raised their children. After empty nesting they moved to the mountains of North Georgia and have resided in Blairsville since 2008. She worked at Union General Hospital in the ED until receiving her Masters of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of North Georgia in 2015. She is nationally certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Andrea enjoys spending time with her large extended family and visiting her two children in Jupiter, Fl and Salem, OR. She enjoys traveling, hiking, swimming and gardening. She is an avid reader and loves being outdoors.
